If you have an urge to try the fantastic game of polo, you've come to the best place. Have fun learning polo here at the Santa Barbara Polo School in your choice of a private or group lesson environment.

Every element of polo, from the fundamentals of horsemanship to hitting techniques to game strategy, is introduced in an arena polo format at the Santa Barbara Polo School located on the beautiful grounds of the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club.

We welcome all skill levels and supply all the horses and gear. John Westley is the instructor and a 25-year veteran of polo.

Adult and children's riding and polo lessons are available, as are arena games at all levels. We even have an Interscholastic and Intercollegiate program October through March with scholarships funded by the Santa Barbara Youth Polo Association.
